Cela fait presque 10 ans que je vis aux Etats-Unis, je suis maintenant expatriée à Los Angeles où j'essaye de vivre de ma musique.
I have lived in the US for about 10 years now. In Los Angeles for the moment, I am trying to make a living with my music...
WOOHOO! We're going to Costa Rica for a couple weeks!!! I can't wait! We'll get some peace at the beach, dance with the monkeys and learn some things about nature preservation, while at the same time spend time improving our spanish! What luck do we have!!!! I feel so oddly favored! Anyway, we're leaving November 24th, coming back December 12th.... I'll have some cool pictures to post here with probably some new things I will have learnt, and I will post it all for whoever wants in!!!! YEAHHHHHH! How is that for a more optimistic post!?
"Indictment: Law. A written statement charging a party with the commission of a crime or other offense, drawn up by a prosecuting attorney and found and presented by a grand jury." That's for the people who don't get that it's legitimate and not a "classic democrat propaganda"! I know, I know, these people would never read this blog. But at least I'm being just as mephitic as the faith driven born again repellent pietistic lunatic fringe... Which sometimes I wish I heard from other people than us bloggers, Al Franken and Jon Stewart! Well, I feel like I've only been posting when exasperated, but it's not the case. I'm in a good mood, I just feel we've been witnessing so much undoing and degeneracy in the past 5 years! And then I'm not the only one thinking, even more now than ever that the second impeachment hearings were blown out of proportion, so why don't we have more than indictments of the current leader's advisers? And why not send them to prison directly? We're in a fascist dictatorial country anyway!? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy, I jumped in my seat when I heard about Libby this morning, but we are still waiting for Rove, and Cheney is still out there, ravenously seeking his next prey. While of course feathering his nest in New Orleans... I still wonder how the liberals are letting this happen!? Why is that more normal than Clinton's cigar fetish? Ok, I'm repeating myself, I think I can't get let it go! But one has to understand that where I come from, the cigar story was taken as a joke, then when he was almost impeached, we were all surprised, and shocked, and now we're wondering if we didn't plunge in the wrong rabbit hole! It's hard for me to understand why people don't strike so much, and why the left wing is not so verulent... But I can't say anything, it seems like France is in the same bag. Although luckily, Chirac is not a repugnant detrimental absolutist despot with and IQ of 3.5! But how hard is it to beat that? Maybe New Agers are correct about the Aquarian age, maybe we are coming down crashing so the few that survive will rebuild with some lessons they will have learnt the hard way... Yet somehow I don't trust we would actually learn anything! What faith I have in humanity, huh?! Well, enough complaining, something IS happening and hopefully it is the start of a new thing... Again (after having thrown our monarchs out and then Hitler, I think "again" is in order!). I AM in a good mood! :-D
Oooh, I like this thing, everyday I find out new things to add to my blog, and everything seems to make it sooo easy to get informed!!! Which tells me that if you do want information, you can get it, but that's another subject! Anyway, I added an email subscription thingy to the right so one can be emailed new posts for my super important blog! ;-) On another note, I was told my last post was pretty radical... Well, yes... It was... But that's how I feel, I think it's outrageous to think that there is going to be no repercussion to trashing things outside, and driving big dumb gas suckers! We're in the 21st century and there is no more excuses for thinking that way. It affects all of us who are trying desperately to be "greener" so our future won't be spent in gas masks. Seems a little exaggerated? Personally I don't even want to risk it! The matrix type of life doesn't appeal to me. I prefer the clean Japanese future world sci fi anime type of style! I just don't see how hard it is. Maybe we should enforce more laws like in Singapore where you can almost eat of the subway ground and where you cannot even chew gum! Think I'm a little too Greenpeace? Not at all. Actually, I'm very hypocrite because I don't live my life in a farm either. But at least I try to make efforts so we don't raise our kids in a putrid air. If that means trashing starbucks paper mugs in a trashcan, how hard is it? And if that means driving smaller cars or even hybrid or better electric (if that ever were available to the general public), then what's the big deal? Do we really need to be so macho that it becomes a necessity to drive such huge vehicles? Well, fine, if you must, then remember the study that proved how much more pollution there is INSIDE your car than out, then we'll see who dies first by suffocation, the Hummer driver or my little hypocrite low emissions Civic ass!? Yeah, you're right; I probably would die first since second hand smoke kills more!
YEAH! My new web site is up. I designed this and Mike programed it so I can have something up that represents both the first album and the second one as well. The old web site was just very much based on the design from Dogonet, my first album. I am however working on another concept for a later version of this site, so this is by no means the end!! >-] Cheers! SABOLAB.COM
In an effort to look for outfits for our wedding, Mike and I went to the Hare Krishna store and buffet in Culver city, Govinda's. They have imports from mainly India which are just beautiful. Some even completely outsandingly chic! We found a great pair of linen pants for Mike and possibly a shirt.... Heard that? FOUND OUTFITS FOR MY BOY!!!!!! Yes, that's right, my t-shirt and jeans boy has a nice outfit for our wedding. HA! Now, my turn! ;-)
